We are designed to live and grow in community in relationship with others. At Elevate Hope Centennial we develop these relationships through Connect Groups. Connect Groups are a great way to make new friends, and grow in your relationship with God..
Groups meet throughout the South Metro Denver area in homes or other places for 6 to 12 weeks and take a break for holidays or natural breaks in the calendar. This Connect Group Semester starts on September 27th, 2020.
Men’s Connect Group
Come connect and grow with other men at Elevate Hope! We will start this group with a 3 week series on faith and vocation. After that we will decide what we want to do. The group will be a time of getting to know each other, relevant content, and prayer. We will meet at Einstein Bagels at Arapahoe Road and I-25 from 7:20am to 8:50am. Time can be adjusted if we all need to.
Women’s Connect Group
Come get to know other women at Elevate Hope Centennial as we get to know one another and God’s Word together. We will meet together weekly for encouragement, prayer, connection and studying the book of Philippians together using Melissa Kruger’s study entitled: In All Things. Anyone at any point on their faith journey or any stage of life is welcome! Let’s connect and have fun! We will meet at Amy Campbell’s home most weeks. Begins on October 1st.
Reason for God
This is a six-session Connect Group that will go through Tim Keller’s Reason for God study together. Reason For God is an engaging DVD series that addresses doubts and objections to Christianity. Using literature, philosophy, and Scripture, Tim Keller helps anyone at any point on their journey of faith to explore the truths of Christianity in a safe, relational environment.
Tim Keller brings together faith and intellect, theology and popular culture, modern-day objections and historic Christian beliefs.
Now you can have resources to help you engage with those same objections, deepen your own faith, and answer the questions of friends who may not share your beliefs.
Christians will be challenged to wrestle with their friends and neighbors’ hardest questions, and to engage those questions in ways that will spark an honest, enriching, and humbling dialogue. This study will help you dig deeper into the objections of the Christian faith and to learn about both sides of the issues.
1. Isn’t the Bible a Myth?
2. How Can You Say There Is Only One Way to God?
3. What Gives You the Right to Tell Me How to Live My Life?
4. Why Does God Allow Suffering?
5. Why Is the Church Responsible for So Much Injustice?
6. How Can God Be Full of Love and Wrath at the Same Time?
This Group begins on October 4th.
Parents of Teens Connect Group
Parenting teens can be rewarding and challenging all at the same time!
We want to start a Connect Group for parents of teens where we can create a safe space to both celebrate the good things we are seeing in our teens (even if some weeks are harder than others!), AND to be there for each other when the challenges come!
Each week we will spend some time celebrating, some time sharing and helping each other through challenges, and some time praying for our teens.
Our first time together will be at Homestead Elementary and we can determine how often we meet and what to do with teens while we meet. They can hang out together, or we will figure something out.
Come get the celebration, support and prayer you need as a parent!
This Group begins on September 27th.
Elevate Hope will be partnering with our sending church, Deer Creek Church in Littleton to launch this special Connect Group on September 27th. Overcome is a confidential and relational space for people who are processing mental health issues in their own life or with a friend or family member including anxiety, depression, addiction, suicide or other issues. We will bring the gospel into these issues as we work through study guides and small group discussion. Participants will come away with tangible resources, coping tools and hope in the midst of these challenges that are not typically talked about in church.
This group will meet for 6 weeks on Sundays from 11:30 to 12:30 at Deer Creek Church in Littleton starting on September 27th.
