Our God is a faithful God, but we as His people often forget His past faithfulness, fail to listen to His voice, and fall in love with the false gods and idols this world has to offer. Let us hear God’s response to our unfaithfulness with His own steadfast and unfailing love: “If My people would only listen to Me, if Israel would only follow My ways, how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their foes! Those who hate the Lord would cringe before Him, and their punishment would last forever.
