Elevate Hope Centennial
Homestead Elementary School // Sunday 10 A.M.
A CHURCH FOR PEOPLE WHO
AREN’T PERFECT
AND DON’T PRETEND TO BE.
BRINGING THE REAL AND LASTING
HOPE OF JESUS
TO CENTENNIAL & BEYOND.
Elevate Hope Centennial is a place where anyone at any point on their faith journey can come and feel welcome. Whether you are unsure about who Jesus is and why that matters, are ready to jump right into worship and community alongside us, or somewhere in between—you are always welcome here!
When is our worship service?
Our worship service is Sunday morning at 10:00am and lasts about 60 minutes; we also livestream our service every Sunday on our Livestream page. We also have our Growth Group class that meets Sunday morning (according to our Connect Group schedule) at 9:00am before our worship service to dive deeper into questions about God and the historic Christian faith. This group serves as a wonderful way to prepare for worship each Sunday, and to grow in your walk with Jesus and the community of Elevate Hope. This group is for all ages and is a great place to invite anyone at any point in their faith. Childcare is available through our Growth Group Kids class!
Where is our church located?
Our church meets in the gymnasium of Homestead Elementary School at 7451 S Homestead Pkwy in Centennial, Colorado. The bigger parking lot in front of the school is our primary parking lot, but we also have a smaller one in the back of the school if the front lot is full. We have two big playgrounds, lots of open tables with grass outside, as well as an indoor cafe, so you can stay after church and fellowship over a cup of coffee and donuts before taking off. Our church is also wheelchair accessible. Get a map and directions below in our site footer!
What is our preaching like?
We spend about 30-40 minutes hearing the Word of God proclaimed, typically through consecutive exposition of a Bible book with an emphasis on gospel proclamation. Our pace through a book varies from several verses at a time to an entire chapter. You can watch or listen to our entire sermon series archive on our Sermons page; we also post our sermons to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Youtube and Facebook every week.
What is our worship like?
Our worship gathering includes corporate singing and prayer, corporate recitation of Scripture and historic creeds, confessions and catechisms, sitting under the teaching of God’s Word, and the weekly partaking of the Lord’s Supper together. We sing a mix of modern worship songs and classic hymns, as well as modern and historic psalm settings which contain sound theological lyrics. Our small worship band includes guitar, bass, drums, and vocalists. You can learn more about how our service is structured on our Worship page.
How should I be dressed?
At Elevate Hope, you won’t find people pretending or putting on a show. We simply want you to come and find rest and relationship with God and others. So come as you are. We are pretty casual about appearances and very serious about being a welcoming community. We only ask that whether you come casually or formally that you do so to God’s glory in humble respect for Him and others.
What about our children?
Kids at Elevate Hope are not just the future of our church, they are part of our church right now! We love having our kids in the service as they are a vital part of our messy and real community that Jesus loves, and we believe there is value in our children worshiping the Lord together with the rest of the body of Christ. If you wish, you can drop off kids infant through second grade in our safe, formative and fun children’s ministry during the sermon portion of our service where they will be instructed in the Bible and catechized in our faith. You and your child will receive matching name-tags with security codes upon check-in to provide for safe release of all children at the end of our service. All of our children’s ministry volunteers can be clearly identified, have all received background-checks and are personally selected by our Children’s Director. On the first Sunday of the month we bring all communing children in Elevate Hope Kids back into our service to partake of the Lord’s Supper with us.
