If we forget to factor in the variable of God’s power and care and ability to do the impossible in our life, we will continue to get the wrong answer to all of life’s priorities, problems, pains and plans. We can follow all the right procedures; pursue all the ways to success; invest in the things that we think will bring us security. But if we leave out that one variable of God’s goodness and grace, His promises and His power to do the impossible, we will come up with a wrong final answer when we hit ‘Enter’ on the calculator of life. In Genesis 17 and 18, Abraham and Sarah come to know God as the God of the impossible; a God able to do the impossible who also calls them His friend. Let’s look at that amazing truth together.
