We mirror God’s heart and character when we love justice; when we want to see goodness triumph. But we reflect our desperate need for God when we minimize our own need for judgement while glorying in the judgement of the evil in others. In Abraham’s interaction with God in Genesis 18, we see God’s heart for both righteousness and justice. And we also see God’s heart for us, His children and His church, in how we are to approach evil people in the world.
